Perform manual testing of web applications, mobile applications (Android and iOS), and APIs.
Analyze business requirements, user stories, and design specifications to develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
Execute functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.
Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using bug-tracking and project management tools.
Perform API testing using Postman or similar tools to validate API functionality and responses.
Ensure application usability, responsiveness, and compatibility across different browsers, devices, and operating systems.
Collaborate with developers, UI/UX designers, and project managers to understand requirements and resolve quality issues.
Conduct retesting and regression testing after bug fixes, enhancements, and new feature releases.
Prepare and maintain test documentation, test execution reports, and defect logs.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback to identify potential issues early in the development lifecycle.
Support release validation and ensure applications meet defined quality standards before deployment.
Follow established QA processes and recommend improvements to enhance testing efficiency and software quality.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
1–2 years of professional experience in software quality assurance or testing.
Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
Hands-on experience in manual testing of web and/or mobile applications.
Experience in creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports.
Familiarity with bug-tracking and project management tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
Basic knowledge of API testing using Postman or equivalent tools.
Good understanding of functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
Basic knowledge of SQL queries and database validation.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
